I would buy that ds in a hurry if its smaller and sleeker than the current ds lite.

Well we might be ready for a new handheld but as history shows Nintendo will stick with current handheld in the market till its sales slow down..so we probably wont get a Next Gen Nintendo handheld for the next 7 years.......

NDS makes lots of money so Nintendo will not publish new handheld in years.

I think its just you. There's really no financial incentive to release another Nintendo handheld.. and, as strange as it seems, the GBA is still active..

I think it's more a matter that people are trying to figure out what nintendo could possibly do to make the DS better than it already is. There are hundreds of tiny little issues that people would like to tweak, the overall concept of the current DS is a very good one.

Games I want: (Wii)Mario Kart, Okami, Bully, Conduit,  No More Heroes 2 (GC) Eternal Darkness, Killer7, (PS2) Ico, God of War1&2, Legacy of Kain: SR2&Defiance


My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.

I don't think we'll see another Nintendo handheld for a few years, though I do think they will redesign the DS again at some point. And even if some people are ready, Nintendo is not, they are making an ungodly sum of money off of the DS, and will wait until it stops selling to release the next handheld.
