They're good games. Why are you confused that people would want to play them without having to pay an extra $400 for the privelige?

Ok, on that same token, why should I have to pay $400 extra for the priviledge to play Bioshock or Dead Rising? Going by your choice of words, the main thing you need to realize is that it IS a priviledge to play "game x" on "system y". If you want to play certain games that are only on one platform, then your only hope is to buy said platform. I wouldn't buy a Wii just to complain "Bioshock should be on the Wii" and I wouldn't have got my PS3 just to say "Zack and Wiki should be on PS3". You know what you get yourself into when you buy a certain console, so don't complain, since it was your decision to not get the system you knew certain games would be on

Seriously, what's wrong with asking for more? Just because you're easy to please doesn't mean other people wouldn't appreciate more value for their dollar. Make a big enough stink and you might just get Bioshock or Zack and Wiki on the PS3. Wouldn't that be a good thing for you?

Mainly because it meant a cheaper PS3 ALOT sooner as I am sure SONY wanted to follow the PS2's footstpes in terms of price drop or even do better.  Even the clearance sales where great as you got a system $100 cheaper with all the goodies.  On top of all this the PS3 hasn't really lost any games though yeah there have been delays but what do you expect as the system is brand new and devs need to get used to it etc.  None of this would have been possible without the 360. Just like all the previous generations at least for me once the price is right or it has a game I just have to get I'll have all the consoles.

By the way this does not mean it was good for SONY obviously but if they can withstand the start they should be fine. Even if the 360 where to fail today or the PS3 where to fail in the future both systems have had or will have great games that are worth getting for at some point to play them.  The amount of gaming I done on my 360 has more than made up for the price it cost me.  Basically competition is good and typically leads to good things for the consumer.

QFT.

Which is why I'm confused as to why every 360 fan wants almost every Playstation game. They won't leave MGS alone. Won't leave FFXIII alone. So on and so forth......but if they were to get all those games, then PS gaming division would crap out, M$ would have a monopoly, and then they could simply do whatever they want

Just like most Sony fanboys confuse me when they want Mass Effect, Halo, and BioShock.

How many rumours have gone around that PS3 is getting BioShock...  When Bungie jumped away from Microsoft the first questions were "When will Halo come to PS3"...  And ever since EA got Bioware the mantra has been "When will Mass Effect come to PS3"...

If you want to play all the games, go buy all the consoles...  I did and that way it doesn't matter which ones are exclusive.

So, why are you singling out Sony fans and MS? Competition is great all around.

Precisely the reason why MS should not be thanked.

So called MONOPOLY.

LoL. And you PAY for playing online on xLive(also because of MONOPOLY).
If not Sony, then you would never get free online on consoles.

M$ loves you. =))

Every 5 seconds on earth one child dies from hunger...

PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

I think we should thank microsoft, they rule

Sony probably doesn't care as much about the 360 as most people think. The only two reasons that PS3 behind it in total sales is because the latter had a head start and because of the price. Had it not been for either of those factors, the PS3 would probably be ahead at this point, or at least a lot closer to it.

Besides, even if the PS3 does catch up to and surpass the 360, what difference would it make? It would still be distant second behind the Wii, and distant fourth behind Sony's own PS2 if handhelds are included, and the difference in sales between the PS3 and 360 would be negligible at best anyway.

Sony is probably more worried about Nintendo than they are MS. Even at its worse, they've managed to have the PS3 keep pace with the 360 whether you align launches or look at sales of both since the launch of the PS3. The place where Sony really messed up was the price. That being said, they can easily remedy this by just redesigning the PS3 and releasing as the PS4 for next gen. The only place MS really poses a threat is NA(and even then, like I said, that's only because of the price) whereas Sony has to deal with Nintendo in all regions. A reasonably priced PS4 should be enough to keep MS at bay next gen. Sony has probably learned its lesson, which is that it should focus on gaming instead of using the Play Station to gain control of the living room as the market will reject such plans because they want an affordable machine that can play games. That being said, Nintendo is who they should be focusing on, not MS.
