I never get asked for my ID, but I don't drink or smoke. Makes checkout fast.

Maybe the store thought it was a minor dressed as an older lady? I know it may sound stupid but authorities perform this type of sting operation all the time. Plus Halloween was not that long ago so maybe they were just courting their ass.
