I find it hard to believe you have ever read GI with comments like this

I'm really hoping this comes out on Wii U since I sure as hell won't buy another Wii just for one game - even if it is Zelda.

It's not like they're alone in that. In fact, most all gaming media is guilty of ignoring Nintendo, since the SNES days.

If I remember correctly, that is the second 10/10 this year, the other being Batman, and the first 10/10 for a game on a Nintendo system since Twilight Princess. Cool.

11/10 still not perfect but fair I suppose I mean I don’ want too seem greedy or something.

Perhaps it was merely bad luck, but most issues i happened to casually pick up at Kmart or the grocery store happened to have no mention of the Wii or DS at all. I am not intimately familiar with the magazine, but when multiple issues slide past without any mention of the two dominant platforms, you know something's funny

That makes two of us.

I have had a subscription for the mag for years and I have never gotten an issue where there was nothing on Ninty systems AT ALL. They cover PC and all consoles. They cant be expected to focus so much attention on one platform.  Its not something against NINTY either. Zelda is on the cover, but its not like MS and SONY games get cover stories all the time. THe last one for Sony was Infamous2, that was last year. GOW3 had one that was last year. 3rd party support on Wii is meh, so coverage will be meh, you expect them to cover all the Just Dance and WiiFit clones??? Ninty is known to be the most secretive of the big 3. Zelda comes at the end of the month and it only just got a cover story two months ago?? Sony and MS get their cover stories out damn near a year before the game even releases. As do most 3rd parties. Blame Ninty for not giving out info.  Back to 3rd parties, they know there doing a half ass job when it comes to Wii, so why give it any attention? The reviews, they're all over the damn place. Some i agree with, some i really dont, that goes for all systems.  I dont read GI for reviews, i read it becasue it has IMHO the best coverage for games, they get previews before even the big internet sites, they were the first to get actual previews for alot of games, not just an announcement
