Crash was not a Sony franchise. Probably not ND choice. And Jak&Daxter didn't succeded.

I disagree that ND have a "tradition" of creating a ip per gen. I believe it's just a coincidence.

Not sure if Sony owned them and back on the PS1 era, going into PS2; They really didn't need first party exclusives as much as now (considering the PS2 had quite an INSANE library). But we all know 3rd party exclusives are sort of dead now thus making first parties like Uncharted very important.

Aldro, I love ya, man. You're really passionate about your beliefs and likes but....I think you set people up for disappointment when you hype things the way you do. I mean, look how crazy you were with some of those Uncharted 3 preview threads you made. I was actually afraid that you were going to keel over and die from excitement, at one point.

Just let it soak in, buddy. I used to tell my sis every week (she's a gamer, too) that the new game I played was the greatest thing I had ever seen. In hindsight, I probably got over excited. Wait a month and see if this is still the greatest game, ever. Some guy made a thread saying Gears 3 was the greatest game ever when it came out. I was in that thread and I entertained the thought.....but now, I realize that I haven't played that game in a month. I beat the campaign, tried the online once or twice, and put it on the shelf. Just sayin'.

I've played over 30 hours on the Subway beta, around 10-15 hours on the June beta, completed the game in one-go on 8 hours and I have never felt this overwhelmed over a game. Finished the co-op missions just now and I am going to go through the game once more with 3D (already started).

I am so impressed. Like you said; you remember how much I hyped the game AND YET I was surprised at how good it was. I honestly felt like I was setting myself up for enjoying it less, but I still can't believe how amazing it was to me.

I don't know if people will feel the same way, chances are they won't as its a very bold statement in my opinion but I really really really feel this way, and I want to tell the world. (as gay as that sounds xP).

Yeah, that last part does sound pretty.....flamboyant.  But if you feel it in your heart, who am I to tell you that you're wrong?  Sing your Uncharted praises to the heavens!!  I just hope Nathan doesn't break your heart someday.....
