Forums - Gaming - What kind of game do you wish developers would make, but still haven't?

I wish there were like a "Hell's Kitchen" video game (yknow, the show where Gordon Ramsay yells and curses at his employees), with like a far more advanced cooking system than say, Cooking Mama, and a bastard judge who will chew you out for "RAW FISH". I think that cooking games have a lot of potential if a serious developer takes it and runs with it towards a high budget direction.

Aside from that, I'm still waiting on a SLAM DUNK game with king of rebound Sakuragi.

A 3rd person open world life simulator with RPG elements (not stat wise, interaction with characters wise and quests ect ect)

like Sims + bioware RPG + real life + open world concept GTA 3rd person style = ????

A futuristic open world game, with flying cars and all, and not a distopian future, a nicer one

truly randomised open world RPG with deep character progression.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

I'd like a really in depth Pirate RPG, where you have your own ship and own crew and sail the world ( it doesn't have to be earth it could be a fictional planet) with all the pirate stereotypes involved like ghost pirates, skeletons and so on. They could even put a nice online coop in which 4 mates could join your crew aswell, while your on your ship sailing to islands you can get to know your crew more (similar to mass effect) and do other activities like sailing the ship, fishing, ordering your crew about when a storm hits and even battle other ships at sea and then board their ships to loot for pirate booty (gold and treasure) do you can upgrade your crew and ship.

Yeah it's too Japanese influenced with its anime visuals and stuff, it needs to be more European influenced like Pirates of the Carribean,  with it's English accented sounding pirates. It would be good to have visuals like uncharted series aswell.

I have been hoping for a co-op hack n slash like DMC3 this whole generation. Stylish action combat with my friends would be even more fun than them simply gawking. We might even be able to help each other be more stylish. The styles could be classes that you level up to gain more attacks and weapons.

that's too ambitious. the only way you can get uncharted visuals is if you make the game so small and short like they do. if you make an open world (ocean, for that matter), you'll need a whole lot more processing power to maintain that amount of detail. probably PS5.

A game where your allies have competent AI.
