Yes, I am getting it. I'm most excited for the Strike Packages, the new modes and the Survival Mode. Good stuff.
This is only my 2nd COD game btw so don't call me a "sheep"

I can't believe people are saying COD is "for kidz and stoopid ppl". I play all sorts of games, although I am not a fanboy of COD, it is probably one of the best competitive and social shooters out there. Same goes for BF3, which I already got. But besides that I also got Dark Souls and Dead Space 2..

People who judge other people by their taste in music/game/movies are as stupid as they come.

THIS.

I myself played COD Black Ops A LOT. It was my first COD game and I really really enjoyed it. Its the reason I'm getting MW3.

While waiting for MW3 I got Dark Souls last month. Put over 80 hours into it so far. Great game. I believe me playing this game makes me a "hardcore" gamer does it not? I'm 19 years old. I enjoy all types of games and I'm discovering more and more genres every year. I play RPGS/Sandbox games/FPS/horror games like Resident Evil/Fighting Games/Racers/Adventure....etc. I play everything. Take a look at my collection in my profile!

@you haters, think twice next time before stereotyping COD fans.

No, I won't get it. The reason being that I am older than 15.

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
Proud pre-orderer of 2 PS4's and an Xbox One.

Currently Playing: Dark Souls II, South Park
Playstation 4: MGS V GZ, Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA 2k14.

Funny how everyone and the mother was obsessed with COD then Black Ops came out and then it suddenly became really cool to insult it.

How people can whine about all the COD games being the same but then accept something like Pokemon is beyond me.

Pokemon games are like COD games, same thing with more bells and whistle, however they are still a lot of fun. Many people are entertained by the same old thing as that thing is very very entertaining. People do not need something brand new and totally different to stay tuned. Of course people eventually get bored.

There is a big disconnect from hardcore gamers that exist on this site compared to reality. Online Black Ops is the worst game, in the real world, people love the mutliplayer like crazy.

I was with my friends and asked how they liked Black Ops and they said it was great and have all per-ordered MW3 (many were pre ordering first time.

They all heard about Battlefield but appear to be focused on MW3 first. So I think Battlefield will have good legs.

So, all I am saying is COD is series that appeals to the masses and is very successful. You can look at any form of entertainment where this has happened and people start to hate on it (game, movie, book, etc), due to its success.

No, not right away at least.

I'm having my fun with BF3.. plus, still gotta pick up U3, Skyrim, AND Assassins Creed.

If I get around to getting MW3, it won't be until later down the road like Christmas or something.

I don't want to, but I know that I will buy it eventually. Probably during the holidays.

I wasn't going to but with BF3 being a massive letdown I might if supermarkets do day 1 deal like last few years CoDs, or I can trade in BF3 for very high price towards it.

That you will be able to do, probably. This is a deal from GameStop, effectively giving you MW 3 for free

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/323153/buy-battlefield-3-and-modern-warfare-3-for-pound3796/

But that relies on you having bought from GameStop. I do remember hearing something about HMV doing a similar deal, but I can't find it with a quick google

No...pretty bored with these modern military FPS games.

Nope. I got Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4, and Black Ops. I skipped all of the others. The online is the big draw and it feels exactly the same, year by year. I probably won't buy another CoD until 2013.

Too many other great games to buy, anyway. In the past two months, I got Gears of War 3, Resident Evil 4, Starfox 64 3d, Gunstringer, Dance Central 2, Batman Arkham City, and Uncharted 3. I still have to get WWE 12, Zelda, Saints Row 3, Mario 3D Land, and Mario Kart 7. No need for CoD after all of that!
