I don't care much for Square-Enix myself, but that is disappointing for people who actually want to buy the special editions.

Do they have a forum on their page that you can pose the question on? I know Capcom uses feedback and have actually done some things based on their user forums. You can give that a try.

NA is getting a collectors edition after all

Square Enix are releasing a limited collector’s edition for Final Fantasy XIII-2 in North America. The collector’s edition will come a 4-disc soundtrack, a 20-page concept art book, and special packaging illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano. Here’s what it looks like:

 

The collector’s edition will cost $79.99, and will be available at Amazon, Best Buy and Gamestop. Each of those stores also has a separate pre-order bonus, with Best Buy easily offering the best incentive
