There was an old TV I watched when I was younger called Dinosaurs!. It was cute and funny but it often had a message. I don't remember the details but I think it was the last episode--they killed this species of bug. Turns out the bug was responsible for killing a certain plant. The plant was responsible for something else and that was responsible for another thing. In the end, they brought about a course of events that resulted in an the Ice Age.

Maybe we shouldn't go around playing God. I hate mosquitos. They carry disease and get on my damned nerves but there may be repercussions. I guess you guys can all ready tell that my Commander Shepherd was a big pussy.

mozzies like all bugs are an important part of the food chain and eco system. I hate the little buggers but if you think the EPA is going to allow for anything more than population control in infestation situations such as floods I think you are in for disappointment.

Old news. This is will change nothing. They should just allow DDT use again and that would fix most of our current issues.

That was the saddest ending to a children's television show. Namely the Baby Dino! T_T

@Acevil, tell me about it! At the end of that episode, they were watching the news and the newcaster said something like, "It;s going to be a long winter. Good night....and goodbye." The look in the eyes of the dinosaur family (The Sinclairs, I think) haunts me to this day. They looked horrified!! Great show. Ended in its prime, too.

The species of bug was a beetle, and the evil plant was some kind of vine by the way.

That was a freakish ending for a children's show.  It ended back in 1994, when I was 5, and the ending was really scary....at least that's what I remember.

Specially the part where thier "show within a show" news station said Goodbye to its viewers.
