Just for the sake of the Hype...

Just what 'they say'...

It seems it will be on the same level of Twilight Princess!

Above: still the best game of the year.

After I was disappointed with Twilight Princess (wolf sections were WAY too long... wolfie didn't have enough abilities and was overall boring), I've been very skeptical. The fact that this only scored 1% higher than TP has me wary, but I still have had it reserved for the past six months and currently have the collector's edition fully paid off.

What do you expect? Its like at 98%. Its not like only 1% means nothing. ITs not like they will put it higher then 100. That means its better then perfect

How the hell did they get the game so early? Has it "gone gold" already?

Opposite, actually. Pretty sure it went gold a while ago and they've just been holding out

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Agree. It should be 196% for the double of fun. I mean, 98% more than TP.

I got that Sonic game. I thought 'OK, the start was meh, but NOW it should get going...'

...and it ended.

Seriously, 60-70% max. That's generous.

Somebody else got burned by Sonic Chronicles, i see. It wasn't bad in the core game mechanics, but it was so far away from what a Sonic rpg should be, nowhere near what BioWare is supposedly capable of doing and what the fuck was up with that story

On topic: as expected, but let's wait for a more complete product (still a month off... don't know how i'll live that long)

You must have played a different version of the game. Either that, or you are in denial.

I remember the team combos and the basic strategies you could come up with being fairly engaging, and i rather liked the story they were coming up with until they took that big left turn midway through and threw the story into outer space, and the music and what can generously be called "animations" were incredibly horrid for a company that's supposed to be good at this

Story: atrocious. Music: unbelievably bad. Graphics: the strongest point of the game, but still weak. Length: disappointing, although with a game this bad, it's actually a plus point.

The gameplay is broken on all accounts. The money system, the experience system, no balance whatsoever. Perhaps you can think of some of these things as alright, if you've never played a good JRPG. The developers had absolutely no idea what they were doing.

Does Tales of Symphonia count?
