Security Essentials.
Comodo, it sometimes gets tiresome with the meddling but it yields great performance compared to the likes of Norton and it is truly the most effective at rooting out malware, viruses and other bullcrap in my experience. I've tried Avast, AVG, Norton, McAffe and a few others as well but didn't really like any of them.
Windows Security Essentials. Its the lightest running and free...and pretty much on par with the bigboys which cost money and take up much more resources.

AVG. I remember asking the VGC community when my McAfee subscription ran out and you guys recommended AVG as a free, working alternative
