But just limit commenting into GT5, not Forza 4 because it also seems you haven't played it and are basing your comparisons between both games in the field of experience (GT5) vs conjectures (Forza 4). In that aspect, you're doing the same as Ethomaz, so you're also contributing to the state of the thread now.

Please people, let it go, for all your sakes. Your continuous ramblings on this threads are just bringing to the surface all the fallacies in both your logic and your actual knowledge of both games and no longer does each side have any right (and I don't think they ever did) to continue this thread any longer as both sides are unwilling to accept any kind of outcome other than "My game is better than yours and you better accept it".

I'll have my say on this. Although Goforgold's comments are blunt and rude, it's hard to doubt what he is saying, all of his points he has supported with facts and he has justified all of his opinions. I appreciate the fact that Michael-5 has stayed calm and reserved in the argument, but his knowledge on GT5 is way off, it even makes me doubt if he has played it, for longer than one hour anyway.

As for trying to prove which one is better, drop it, because you can't. Both games are very similar and have their pros and cons, which one you prefer is decided by opinion.

I just want people in this thread to go back to the root of what both games represent for each side: A fun and enticing racing simulation experience for any person who owns one or both games.

Gaming shouldn't be a competition of who has the better game or the game with more features or the game with more graphics or which has the better sound.

Sometimes I feel that we, as gamers, have forgotten what is it in this hobby that we all love about and we fight about the most tiny and unreasonable things.

OMG, so many things I want to say... Almost home. Thanks yo_john you get me.

ethomaz.... My opinion is FM4 is much better then GT5. What I'm trying to do, and trying to be fair, is to get GT5 fans to admit Forza 4 is a good sim, and that both games are awesome. You prefer GT5, many people do (in this thread most prefer Forza 4, and I'll show that in the tally).

Look ethomaz. Maybe your having trouble accepting Forza 4 is a better sim and a better game? You think I'm biased for my opinion, and I think you are biased for yours. That's why my goal now is neutrality. I want both sides to accept both games are equally good sims. Until you play Forza 4, you are in no position to force your opinion of GT5 being a better sim onto anyone. Neutrality makes the most sense on VGC, tired of trying to explain things to people.

pezus - The point of the tally isn't to show if either game is better. Why bother, people who are die hard fans of one franchise will just ignore the tally anyway. The purpose is to show both are good, and some people are just blindly supporting games, and just annoying.

pezus I'm also the most vocal because look how many people attack Forza 4! Look at how many people express opinions as facts, and just how silly some of the critisism are here. This website needs some balance between the fanbase of PS3 and 360, and I'm just a huge car nut and can't stand for inconsistancies on both sides. If more people attacked GT5, I'd back off.

Anyway, tally comming in a couple hours.
