Maybe like a 60-70% for me

I'll take boring as fuck for high pay all day long, but I don't really want to go morally wrong. I'm not gonna dump toxic waste into a river or put lead in children's toys or something.

If I thought I could make a decent ammount of money by prostituting myself, I'd be glad to do it.

But, seriously though, to me it doesn't matter. A job is a job. Perfect cenario would be to not have to work ever.

When looking for a job, to what extent are you willing to sacrifice your morals / happiness in order to achieve wealth?

0-100%; 0% being I can only do jobs that I'm extremely happy working in, and I don't care how much money I make at all, 100% being I will do any job in the world no matter how horrible/evil so long as I get paid enough to do it.

Personally, I would place myself near the middle but closer to around 60% probably. How about you guys? :)

I am around a 20-30%. Honestly I will work a job I am not 100% happy with but will never sacrifice my morals. You could pay me a fortune and I would not do the job unless I enjoyed it and it met up with my moral standards.

The closest I would come to compromising my morals in a place of employment would be a politician. As a politician I couldn't possibly impose my beliefs on others. This fact would mean from time to time I would have to sit back and let the political system work. I am for the separation of church and state and as a politician I would not seek to impose my morality on the populace unless it served the populous best interest and had the support of the people.

I have worked a job I hated and honesty as long as I have a choice I will not return to working another job that drives me nuts. I would much rather live a low income below poverty level life happy in what I do and with my morality intact then be a wealthy sell out.

around 95% for me.

I already hate my current job and most of the people I work with, only a few people here I find tolerable in any way. I only stick around cause I make really good money and the benefits are great. If I didn't I probably would have gone postal by now. There aren't many jobs I wouldn't do for the right amount of money.

What's the point of having wealth without happiness?

But money do make me happy.

Would probably say I lean more towards higher pay than happiness. Even with a heavy work load you are still going to spend more time at home than work so might as well make high pay so your home life is comfortable. There are other benefits as well ... no stress for bills/ect. and the fact that if the pay is very very high you could probably retire much earlier with proper planning. Don't forget that accidents and misfortunes happen to all of us as well when you least expect it ... I had a situation like that a few years back, but financial security turned what would have been a devastating event into a minor inconvenience.

I am not sure what you mean by sacrificing morals ... like if you could become a hitman or sell weapons to terrorists? If that is what you are referring to then I would say no ... unsafe and even if it was safe I could never live with myself.

Exactly. Which renders the dilemma moot. Money has been shown (to an extent) to make people more happy.
