I like the Kinect integration. Head-Tracking is a nice feature, voice control speeds up the navigation, Autovista is awesome

Graphics are the best in the genre and the most consistant on and off the track. The cars really do sit in the environment and no longer appear to be floating along. Autovista is truly next gen graphics here now but in a controlled and restricted environment.

The sound is also the best out of any racing game ever period. I literally got goose bumps driving the Pagani Zonda in the demo with my base'y surround sound system and I'm glad the sound qccuracy is consistant throughout all the cars in the full game. I was really suprised when the Mercedes SLR Mclaren had the same uniquely beastly raw it does in real life.

Physics are the best they have ever been in a Forza game, loving the new tyre and suspension physics and simulation steering option. It is actually brutally fun to try and push some of these 900hp rear wheel drive supercars around a track with all assists off. Try it with the Koenigsegg Agera on the Top Gear test track and you will feel like The Stig barreling into a tyre wall. On the subject of the Top Gear track, anyone else think that track is much harder to drive around then you would think? The Stig makes it look too easy ha!

While the car selection is still the most diverse, balanced and interesting in a racing sim if you purchased all of the DLC for Forza Motorsport 3 then you won't see the extra cars as a major improvement unless your a sucker for the few current fastest cars in the world and American muscle cars. Same could be said for the tracks I guess but even the most previously bland tracks (silverstone) now looks bright and beautiful and are more fun to drive around. They stopped simulating the shitty british weather!

As yo-John117 mentioned the A.I tend to be overly aggressive or just too stubborn to move out of the way in the corners and have no regard to your position and it seems you can only really take them in the corner because I swear the lead A.I cars are carrying nitrous in the straights.

Haven't bothered using my Kinect or attempted online yet but I hear it's improved.

All in all it's easily the best and most entertaining all rounded racing simulator out there and pure car porn for anyone who loves cars like I do.

@ Kiefer I love cars like you do. :)))))))))))))))

And yes. This gam is for people like youu and me.

PURE AMAZING FUN.

Ive played over 12 hours so far and only done 3.1%. ROFL.

However I got in the top 5% last night on Rivals Hot Lap. And got 100,000cr from one hot lap win.

I had a big grin. A game I am good at online. Because I understand racing and the fastest way around a track.

A game where there is no other factor than knowledge and skill. :)

Aye I hear you! The AI drivers are either ridiculously hard to beat or ridiculously easy in world tour...there seems to be nothing in between.

I can't quote for whatever reason haha.

@ Selnor

I enjoy what little of rivals I have played and didn't realise the payouts for rival mode could go higher than 25k. I must give it more of a go!

@ Yo-John

Lol it seems 6 of the 11 other racers are slow 4 are really good and 1 is blisteringly fast. I remember racing in some S class events and I swear that damn grey Ferrari 599 GTO has a rocket up it's ass. I had maxed P.I for the event and just couldn't keep up! I'd regain on the corners but not enough. It is an amazing car...

You're both in the car club aren't you? Add my gamertag: Kiefer23 :)

The AI just baffles me. I go from winning handily to right now, watching everybody go 10 mph faster than me on straightaways. Nevermind the fact that on one race the guy to the right of me literally turns to the left and tries to put me in the stands coming off the grid every time I start the race. I mean, really guys?

EDIT: So I hope back into my Javelin and all of a sudden I start dominating again. I'm not sure I understand why when I have the car with the highest PI in the field, I get dominated, but when mine's the lowest, I win easily.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Yeah I'll add you man.

@themanwithnoname: Interesting! I may have to see if races are easier when you have a low P.I

just wanted to know if anyone would be able clarify this (im thinking about buying either forza 4 or gt5)

but ive been reading a lot of comparisons/ reviews where it seems foza is more of an arcade sim whereas gt5 is the closest thing to a racing sim we will get on consoles. Particular because of the physics engine. Can anyone who has played both games clarify?

The differences between F4 and GT5 are so small. F4 just gives you the option if you want to play more like arcade sim or pure sim.

Yeah. Forza can hold your hand if you want it to or you can turn everything off and it'll bite off your hand instead.

Physics are only part of the simulation for me. The audio and the visuals which are unmatched are also deciding factors on the total immersion.
