It only does PC gaming.

Actually, the Sims would be so awesome with this.

Yeah, but have you played the console sims? they really miss the point of the game.

They did excellently with the Sims 3 PS360 versions ... dunno what you're talking about. Even I was a skeptic before I played the Sims 3. If you are talking about other console Sims before 3, I can't judge them since the only Sims I ever played were the PC original and 3 on PS3.

But do tell. What was the point they missed?

The main reason for them making Sims 3 is the seemless world around neighboors where they can walk around the town without any loading and random spawning, which on consoles , is removed instead they have the karma system which makes the game even more dumbed down, i have it on PS3 and PC by the way.

on PC the world is seemless, you can walk around the whole town without loading or respawning and menu stuff, also there is more interactions and more options online interactions and more stuff to do, there is also a lot of freedom , which is the whole point of the game.

Some of us are not PC gamers anymore, and Sims 3 consoles does a pretty decent job filling the void. It may not have all the modifications, cheats, additional interactions,or all of the DLC PC owners are "treated" to, but it sure as hell had enough content to keep me entertained for months. Yeah the load times could have been better, and they actually did become better with a late patch but it did not hinder the exp, It's kick-back-and-relax game. If you're willing to spend hours mindlessly guiding sims arounds, what's 5-10 sec load screen every ten minutes? The karma system was a neat addition, and you actually had to work for those points! It really feels rewarding in the end. I never thought of it as dumbed down, only as an opportunity to treat yourself after  successfully completing enough wishes. I'm actually disappointed that you see it that way because Karma features were rather fun.

Now to the second paragraph ... oh wait you repeated the load screen arguments to make it look like you had more points to argue -_-

You obviously don't know what i am actually talking about, because you didn't play the PC version, so i'll just post a video of some gameplay so you can see what it is that i'm talking about , so you can understand better.

i'm not talking about Mods, cheats or DLC

its not that there is less load times, its the fact that the whole game is one big town, not seperated little sections that you switch through, which is actually the whole point of Sims 3 , the whole selling point for Sims 3 compared to Sims 2 was the fact that your sim could travel anywhere in the town in real time, and meet others along the way, on Sims 2 you couldn't do that, actually i could say the whole point of Sims 3 is the interactions you do OUTSIDE of the house.

i also found it very weird that they removed this whole feature all together from the Console version, while still keeping it on the IOS/Android versions?

Actually I don't need video, I know exactly what you mean. You just fail to understand that my argument is it's not as dumbed down on consoles as PC gamers like to admit to. fyi I do play it all the time on my friends PC. Sims3 Medievil anyway.

but where in my post did I say that load times were  not seemless in the PC version? All I said was the console version was still quite enjoyable.

You could still interact with the outside world. It wasn't that smooth, but it was still there.

I did watch them, and yes, the load times are instant compared to the 5-10 second wait on consoles. Does that make the PC version superior? Yes. Is that my argument? No.

here let me bold it for you so you at least understand this time:

CONSOLE VERSION IS SURPRISINGLY GOOD AND FUN!

Damn stubborn arabi brother :P

Lol why are you acting as if i'm the one who started this, look at the convo , you clearly said this

"But do tell. What was the point they missed?"

so in return i explained, whats the problem here? don't ask me something and then refuse to listen. -_-;

I don't know if this is real or not. None of the sites I have seen this on have linked to an official source, even though they claim "Sony announce." If it is true, the $127 is not going to be the price of it here in the States, as they just did a straight conversion from Japan price of 9,800 yen. It will mostly likely be ~ $60-$65 in the US.

Edit:  Also for that price, it's strange they show this being a wired Keyboard/Mouse.  I doubt Sony would release these without Bluetooth, since all PS3 controllers use it.

GO on amazon, it's already on sale.....this is not new. this is old stuff man

I like it but its way overpriced im not paying more than $60 for this.

You're right.  It's available Oct. 24th and is priced at $99 (Iwas way off on that one, but I guess so are the $130 reports).  Still overpriced, especially considering it's wired and not Bluetooth.
