Are you sure? i thought it was only 1 DVD disk this time, and only 1 blu ray of course. story, i've heard the story is actully being written by a proffessional novelist this time. so the story might actully be very good. with the goddess Etro and what not. FF13s story was not good because it didnt go anywhere and it was written by Toriyama.

but i can see after that trailer the execution will be poor. the dialogue is really bad man. and the voice acting is as someone else said, nothing more than a C-grade anime movie. Studio Ghbili this is not.

Looks very promising in the gameplay department and the music (the music in the first half not that mediocre song in the second half).

They have improved the gameplay a lot, for starters the environment is far more interactive (swinging across tree branches and so on) unlike XIII where the environment was more of a wallpaper than anything else.

I expect nothing from the story, the people behind the game were responsible for FFX, X-2 and XIII and partially VIII so my expectations from the story is nothing.

But the game looks fun on the gameplay side, more fun than a FF has been in many many years and thats the only reason the game is even on my radar.

A professional novelist may be writing the story, but professional novelists supposedly helped to pen FF8's story and as you said the less said about that games story the better.

haven't changed my views of the game. I still dislike it. mainly because of the characters and that new girly-guy

You're right. One disc. [gasp!] I fear now for the CG quality we're going to get. I hope for either better compression tools or more gameplay, less movies. PS3 owners are really going to blast us this time.

Even after all the videos, I'm still not even slightly interested in this game; it just looks like filler content, and not a proper sequel.

I don't get why people aren't complaining about QTE, but ya I agree with ya. Given my dislike of the game is no where near your hate of it. I will get this at 20-30 bucks, maybe.
