I wouldn't mind seeing a Vancouver v. Chicago Western Conference Final Series. Looks like the rivalry got a much needed boost after the last game.

broke the record. 31 points jesus fuck. and these aren't push over teams either
Unbelievable! What a record the Blackhawks now have. Even Hollaback has to be impressed by that.
Hopefully they finish the season as well as they started it.

that would mean they would be 28-0-6 with the start and finish with only 14 games in between

I was kind of hoping that they'd have that kind of run in the playoffs...

Impressive work! Blackhawks probably only need to win about maybe just under half their remaining games to finish first in the league. Hall will still be suspended Monday(It was 2 games).
I'm glad Minnesota is back in 8th seed. Should be able to beat Calgary tonight.
I think Choco is hiding out till the Avs manage to get some wins.

San Jose Sharks forward Ryane Clowe faces a supplementary discipline hearing Monday for an incident from a game Friday night against the Chicago Blackhawks. He is suspended pending the outcome of the hearing.
He has been offered the opportunity for an in-person hearing in the League office, which means his suspension can exceed five games, per provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Clowe was assessed a minor for roughing and a game misconduct for leaving the players' bench to start an altercation (Rule 70.6).
If it is determined he left the bench illegally, he is assessed an automatic 10-game suspension without pay and his club is fined $10,000. If he left the bench on a legal line change, he still is subject to Supplemental Discipline for doing so and then proceeding directly to start an altercation (Rule 70.2).
Chicago won the game, 2-1.
That sucks, the sharks werent changing when he got off the bench it seemed. It seems like he's gone for 10 games.

I don't blame him for being pissed about the hit but the man has to follow the rules. He's made some questionable plays before too.

The hit was a bad hit but it could have been worse. If it wasn't near the bench his head would have went into the glass. He didn't even get a 10 game suspension worth hit in.
