But I seriously predict they will lose 4 out of their next 5 games. I can see them beating Vancouver though.

I seriously predict that an island will be discovered where the natives have purple skin, 3 eyes, and 1 nostril. They will live on a steady diet of cotton candy that grows on the island's trees. Seriously.
I love baseless, illogical predictions rofl. Yes, the Blackhawks who have one of the best home winning percentages in the league over the past 4-5 years are going to collapse on a 7 game home stand. A team that is 10-0-2 after playing 10 of their first 12 on the road and having played 9 or 10 games already against teams that made the playoffs last season are just mysteriously and for no reason going to start to stink.
They don't even have any injuries of note.
But yeah, maybe your prediction will be accurate. Not because it's logical or makes sense in any way, but because even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.
I'm not suggesting that the Blackhawks can keep up the pace they're on. No team could hope to do that, but to suggest that they are going to lose 4 out of 5 at home against teams they have already beaten on the road is a bit silly.

What makes any prediction illogical? It's hockey. This isn't like the NFL where if I were to say "The Pariots will face the Cheifs 10 times this year and lose every time" Teams are a lot closer in skill in the NHL. But I guess if a team starts out the gate strong, they're indestructable. I'm sorry for thinking some good teams might give the Blackhawks a hard time over the next few weeks. God, I feel so crazy.

Don't get me wrong. I didn't mean to rain on your parade. I just find baseless predictions pointless. I like making predictions as much as the next guy, but half the fun is using your sports knowledge to maybe notice something that most peope haven't, and then going against the grain based on what you think you know. Saying that the best team in hockey is going to lose 4 out f 5 at home for no reason at all just seems like a completely random prediction and as the above poster mentioned, one that you HOPE will come true, not one that you really believe will come true.
As I mentioned in my first response to you, I know the Blackhawks are going to fade a bit at some point. No team can keep up this pace, but they aren't just going to implode on a home stand for no reason.
