No, Denver is one of few teams that has it's own sports channel rather than being aired by larger networks like foxsports. The owner of the Avs owns the Denver Nuggets and a professional lacross team. He created the cable channel altitude to show his teams and to create other shows about Colorado sports called "altitude sports." It basically allows him to get more revinue from his teams by controlling all the ways to watch them. I think there is only  one other team in the NHL that has an owner that also has a channel to control most TV broadcasts.

Blackhawks are now 4-0-0. They just need to win about 45% of the rest of their games to get a playoff spot. They are playing the Columbus Blue Jackets next. Should be an easy win but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out they get their first loss from a team like that. Hopefully I'm saying the Blackhawks are 5-0-0 by tomorrow night. That's a crazy good first 5 games no matter what though.

The Avalanche center shows why this sport takes the toughest athletes to play it. Man takes this puck to the face and then comes back to score a goal.

@Max The Blue ackets look as bad as ever, yet it could be easy to slack. they were just shut out by Colorado. Semyon Varlymov has been really hot other than in the opener.

He was the number 2 star for the nhl on monday

for once he held his own to bailout the team. The Blackhawks are designed for a weak goalie though. They give up few shots per game(number 6 in the league). Their defense is basically a high powered offense (number 4 in goals per game). So as long as Crawford can be on it the games the players are off the team will be fine.

Hopefully I am caying 7-0-0 after tonight.
