LA relies on the trap and defense and I believe that even though the Blues rely on similar tactics they are the better team. Funny seems there are no LA fans on here. 

Hoping for a Predators-Blues final as that would by far be the most interesting thing in the West.

Since Vancouver got knocked out in the first round their should be no riots this year so the streets of Vancouver should be safe for another year. I would like the Flyers to win it all but they will have a tough time just making it to the finals even though they did pretty well against the Penguins.

That's exactly it.  If the guy didn't do this sort of thing several times he wouldn't have gotten a suspension that severe and it was pretty obvious that his only intention was to hurt Hossa.

Oh, and those two President's Trophies must mean a lot to Vancouver...

They mean a nice banner on the ceiling of the arena and no riots to the losing team's city this year! Perhaps the winning team can do it as that is the norm!

Haha.  Jonathon Quick isn't boring.  It's the rest of the team.

Lol, yes we need to give credit when credit is due, Jonathon Quick is superp goalie and everyone would love LA if he had a high powered offense to back him up. But they do not, they make me sleep.

LA vs Vancouver - I predicted LA would win and they did

STL vs San Jose - I predicted STL would win and they did

Phx vs Chicago - I predicted PHX would win, and they're up 3-2 so it's looking pretty good

Det vs Nash - I predicted Det would win, and they lost.

East:

NYR vs OTT - I predicted NYR would win, OTT is leading 3-2 so not looking great

Wash vs Boston - I predicted Boston would win, tied 3-3

NJD vs FLA - I predicted NJD would win, FLA is up 3-2 so not lookin great

PHI vs PITT - I predicted PHI would win and they did


Correctly predicted 3 so far (LA, St. Louis and Philly)

Incorrectly predicted 1 so far (Detroit)

I have 2 predictions looking good (Phoenix up 3-2 and Boston tied 3-3 with game 7 at home)

I have 2 predictions not looking good (NYR down 3-2 and New Jersey down 3-2)

Yeah BUDDY!!! Flyers win and Giroux looks like the best hockey player on the planet right now. Bored with low scoring games? Tired of whiny "superstars" who want different rules for themselves? Come join the Philly train, where we like to score, fight, but not really play too much defense. Honestly this was one of the most entertaining playoff series I have ever watched, can't wait for Round 2. A Philly-LA Stanley Cup would be wild because you have the two most different teams on the ice vying for the Cup. Plus it would be fun to see Richy and Carter facing their old team (hope someone decks Carter, he sucks, Richy is cool by me though).

Man, I love playoff hockey, exhilerating. Rangers-Sens should be intense tonight!
