Yeah it should be going on through each round. Also hoping each person would pick their favorite to win before the playoffs start. I will put something together to hopefully make it fun to participate in and keep the playoffs more fun.

Are we going to predict all of the rounds together? How would you guys like to do it?

Sure I plan on coming up with a system as complicated as zuvu's to declare the vgchartz cup champion. I will put up the chart Sunday as that is when all the rounds will be set and should look almost exactly like the league rol did in the NFL thread.

Sucks it looks like the Wings-Hawks matchup will not happen with the Wings playing the Predators. I look forward to Detroit lasting long enough to blow it to the wings hard.

Hawks are my team for sure.

The Hawks will play the Preds if they defeat the Wings in the last game before it gets to a shootout.  Otherwise they will play the Kings or the Sharks.

I see, I was not aware tonight they play each other how perfect! I will try to watch it. Realistically as far as moving on goes, I would take the sharks first, but as far as long-time rivalries and hopefully bench clearing brawls goes the D-Town C-town match sound so much more fun.

edit: The modern wings though are pussies compared to past teams as they hardly get penalties, so fighting only seems likely if Chicago picks them!

If you want to win it all, you have to beat everybody that they throw in front of you so match ups don't really concern me.  I would like to see the Hawks knock off the stupid Wings or Canucks though.

Agreed, you have to beat the best to become the best.

Vancouver is my second pick though if all else fails. I see them play a lot versus the AVS and all they did was dominate them all season.

On a funny note the AVS lost to columbus badly last night. It looks like they are playing for another higher draft pick.

Actually, their averagness since the playoffs is mostly their owners fault. He is rich as hell, but they currently sit 15 million under the salary cap. Once the Nuggets got Carmello Anthoney, he focused more capital on his basketball team, as basketball is more profitable. Asshole pisses me off because Colorado has always been more traditionally fans of hockey over basketball. If he does not pay more to young stars next year the avs will be so bad I might have to compleatly adopt Chicago as my team.
