The last time the AVS won the President's cup they also won the Stanley Cup in a game seven verses the devils. It payed off big time.

Colorado is on a roll at the right time now winning four in a row. Semyon Varlymov has now allowed two goals in three games and the avs have scored at least four goals in for games. The trade to get Steve Downie has really paid off as he has been a point machine since the trade and ignited his line-mates Landeskog and O'rielly.

If the avs make the playoffs I will show off my sweet man mane and beard in my avatar, maybe it has been awhile since I had real pic of me. The avs already started growing the playoffs beards and I am down to show my support. XD

The reason that the Avs won the Cup that year is because they were the best team in the playoffs.  Look, the Canucks had game 7 at their place last year and that wasn't a win.  What I'm saying is that while home ice is nice, it doesn't mean that you're going to win it all.  Also, the President's trophy by itself is worthless in my eyes.

Sounds good to me! You aren't allowed to start your beard until the end of the regular season though right? Or does it not matter.
