Raffi Torrres has another disciplinary hearing. If you guys don't remember he delivered a vicious hit to Seabrook when he was playing with the Canucks in the playoffs. And last year he knocked Hossa out cold in the playoffs with the Coyotes. Since he was a repeat offender and seriously injured Hossa(if the season started on time Hossa still would have been out for a duration of time) he got a 25game suspension(then appealed it and got 21 i think). He made head contact with sholl on the kings. I think he will be suspended for a good long time again. Glad it wasnt against the Hawks again.

There were 2 penalties on the Hawks yesterday that I was absolutely surprised were called. They were both roughing penalties... and it seemed like they were real weak. Not that it matters because the Wings didn't score from them but I really hope the officials turned into a bunch of wimps.

BTW- I count 24points for me. I had 15 before Bruins and Rangers won

If the Hawks lose the next game, it's pretty much over for them.

Darn, I knew I should have went with Boston.

Told ya they weren't just going to lay down.  That third line on the wings has been their trump card.  They outplayed the opposing third line against the ducks and now hawks.  I expect an upset if Howard stays hot and detroit continues to play great team defense.
