I do want the game, but it's coming out the same time Burnout Paradise is, so it'll be a tough choice.

Get a Wiikey or Cyclowiz chip. Depending on which country you live in, you can either find a store that chips it, or you can search for private soldering. Or learn how to solder yourself.

Be careful with modding your console

firstly, if you're just getting it just for this game, make sure it's compatible first:

Although about 70% of games are compatible and games are always cheaper and out earlier in US

secondly, you need to check the serial number of your Wii. If it's:

Under LAH1016 (Early system) you can easily mod it yourself with a soldering iron
Between LAH1016 and LAH10216 it's more difficult, as you have to drill into the IC. Get someone else to do it for you
over LAH10216, Wiikey CycloWiz etc won't work, you need a later model mod chip (D2C)
