I stand corrected.

At the end of today, when the tills are done and the money's counted, and we sit back and wait for the results to come in, there's 13 working days (unless they're's some regions tracked where Christmas isn't a public holiday) left of tills a - clanging and hype a - banging. And maybe some consoles a-selling.

Will be interesting to see what the final numbers are sometime early January.

Will MS be able to harness some of those massive christmas magics?

I think it'll be a testicular pie by the end of the year. They should be within 50k of each other.

Wait, the 806k gap for Dec 3rd, is that before or after recent adjustments? If It's before, wow.

We will know in a couple of days the likely hood. 1st tomorrow (maybe today) we will know the special deals at the major retailers for the week before Christmas. We will then find out how last week went. If the 360 can be up by 300K or more than it could really happen. Below that and it gets real iffy.

That's it? I'm giving it %50, it could all come down to the last week. Lets face it, if i said the 360 would peak this year, even  few months ago, I would have been laughed at... I woud have even laughed at myself.

But this really goes to show that most of the year means nothing.

September - December is where console sales are at.

Sony has dominated this year exclusively and sales wise up until fall. But the price drop and tonnes of exclusives, won't show the domination in sales. I predict it will end with PS3 up by about 300,000 consoles.

What is shows is the 360 and Wii are more seasonal than the PS3 and the yearly HD console totals (and overall demand) are nearly equal when all is said and done.
