With those adjustments and this weeks numbers the difference should be about 780K with 3 weeks left. 2 heavily in 360 favor. It will come down to the last week. If MS can reverse 2010 results by having supply and end of the year sales for the gift cards then the 360 can do it.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
Whit this week numbers... there are a 800k gap in PS3 favor... after that:
Week 17th Dec: tie (PS3 had the FFXIII-2 special edition)
Week 24th Dec: 360 by 150-200k
Week 31st Dec: tie (the PS3 always won by little the last week of the year)
The final gap in 2011 will be: 500-600k (PS3 winner).

Thats some pretty impressive results for FFXIII-2 you must think it is going to sell about 200K more this week for the 360 and PS3 to be anywhere near tied.
Here are my predictions for the remainder of the year based on the past couple weeks results and last years results. Notice I have FFXIII-2 about doubling sales compared to last year.

The limited edition for FFXIII made the PS3 jump from 77k to 242k in 2009... japaneses loves theses editions (see how the sales jump just with new colors)... so I expected PS3 selling over 150k for that week in Japan (200k is possible too).

huh? no, I'm not adjusting PS3 sales before december sorry, those sales are now set in stone.

please ethomaz, stop hyping up a PS3 victory i noticed you also did in other threads aswell, not only will you be incorrect but it will make me and my thread look bad aswell. in my defense i made it last holiday season and will lose it by a few units which i think is pretty good for a prediction made that long ago, but as a little insurance policy i made sure i got it right for 2012 prior to not being on here as frequent
its not going to happen there will be no "tie" next week and there certainly wont be no 150-200k 360 advantage (lol) the week after that more like 500k+ as i also did mention earlier in this thread that on BF the 360 would also erase the gap by a certain amount along with a number of other things so my words should never be taken with a grain of salt as they say

the gap according to vgchartz right now is 1 millions, I think by the end of the year it will be like 700k in favor of the ps3.
