So what is the new gap for 2011 ? Is there any way to see the global yearly numbers ?
The "hardware annual summary" doesn't include 2011...
I will wait to see the FY report from MS and SONY. SONY needs to ship over 7.5M PS3 to become the console manufacturer who sold the most console in 2011.
I am shocked by NPD numbers, but I feel more disappointed with VGC numbers.

Pick a set of numbers and guess at moment
Sony shipments rely on Ninty's Euro charts as well it seems. Down in US this Q, Flat/Down in Japan, last year Europe had GT5 (much more powerful in Europe than anywhere else) The price cut hasn't managed to spur sales anywhere else this Q, why such a huge difference in Europe?
Yet they plan to ship, what, 700k~ give or take a few hundred k either way, more than last year?
People, MS already told us how many they shipped. The problem is a lot of those shipments are haven't been sold yet.

Why are you so arrogant 0_o, they havn't told us how many they've shipped, they've said 66m+. They did exactly the last last CES with 50m, and shipped 800k above that.
Like I said, if they ship 66.5 that's 2.8m on shelves. Which is far too much.
