Maybe he put an antiperspirant too effective on his armpits and couldn't flood the cocaine in excess out, so he went berserk with numbers.

Seece said: I hope Nintendo release thos european charts, be interesting to see where those X360's really sold. I'd really like them to break down their shipments like Nintendo do, insted of just 1 figure, alas that's too much to ask it seems. |
Don't be shy, man, we know you and kow won the US national lottery and bought half a million XB360s each, so it must be UK!
And LOL @ the new tagline in the thread title.

Thanks, I expect dictionary to take it seriously
500k consoles at $200 would cost $1b? I wanna play what lottery you're playing.

Just $100M! US lottery should be rich enough!
(and yes, it's late and I was almost making the same mistake!)
Carl2291 said: What a stupid time to adjust. NPD and shipment data just around the corner, so VGChartz updates with no real idea where anything was/is over/undertracked. Wasn't the reason that PS2 sales were never adjusted, because VGC didn't know where to put them? How can they magically just know now where to put/take away sales? |
So many years and you still don't know that only happens to Sony consoles? ;)

Totally agree. Let us wait for the shipment figures.

Any difference of ~100k - or 0.66 % when talking about 15 000 000 - is far closer than any "statistical tie" (rationally ~2.5%) could be.
Really - until we get hard figures from multiple smaller regions (here in Aus, MS and Sony release figures maybe once every quarter, and usually through interviews/press release rather than regular reports, and the only official tracking here excludes many major chain game stores, and online sales - and I've got no idea what numbers VGC has calculated individually for Australia as part of EMEAA - but much anecdotal evidence reveals a massive spike in sales to one of the twins) - most of which will be months away - if at all, 100k could we wiped out in one fell swoop of a sales report 100k swing either way from Australia or any other similarly sized market.
So congratulations MS, and congratulations Sony.
At this stage we have a tie. Or a "choose your own winner" type scenario. Judging by the "love" thread , we already have plenty of posters taking the "choose your own" path - and good luck to you all!
It's been an epic thread, I arrived late, but read every one of these here posts over the last month or so.
We are all winners!

That's funny, your post history in this thread tells of a less reasonable attitude with no humility when you thought the PS3 had more than likely won.
Seece said: So, Microsoft have said, a few times, that they plan to be #1 in sales, for 2011. Sales not shipments. |
To the OP: please extend the Cumulative total database to current period and to see whether the PS3 lead of October 2011 is achieved again. I'm sure it'll be achieved in 3-4 months.
