With the dance game genre about to kick start again in the next few weeks I wanted to get some insight to how everyone feels about this comparison. When Kinect launched last year, it exploded with sales and one of it's highly reviewed and bought games is of course Dance Central which has now sold over 2.2M copies.

Now everyone knows about Just Dance 1 and 2 selling crazy numbers over the last few years on the Wii.  My question here is a simple prediction one. We all have seen pre-order #'s for our favorite core games this fall. But i have to see any preorder numbers for any dance game so far this year.

Now with Kinect already having a good Dance userbase in place, do you think Dance Central 2 will outsell the Just Dance 3 360 version?   Or do you think that the word of mouth that Just Dance is finally on 360, the name brand of that will make it the #1 dance game on Kinect?

Dance Central is one of my overall favorite games this gen. DC2 is a day one buy. I hope Miss Aubrey and company take a big 'ol shit on Just Dance.

Dance Central, MS is going to market the crap out of it and I doubt Ubi will do that much, honestly i think they are more focused on the Wii version

I'd pick dance central, i don't think the just dance userbase would look forward to increased accuracy.

Dance Central 2 will outsell Just Dance (360) version.

Dance Central was built ground up for Kinect. Just Dance was adapted to it.

I don't think word of mouth about Just Dance 3 will have spread much on 360. I think Dance Central 2 could break 3 million sales, and Just Dance will likely only cross 500k. 1 million if it's lucky.

Then again, who can predict this stuff? Even Ubisoft was surprised at Just Dance's sales.

Not on 360 though. I'm sure Just Dance as a whole (even only on Wii) will beat DC2's sales but on 360 I'm putting my money on Dance Central 2.

DC2 should win that battle easily.
