So it seems as though Treyarch is hiring a new Senior Software Engineer for work on a game for a "new console". It seems to me that Treyarch is bringing either a port or entirely new CoD game to Wii U.

  I highly doubt they are refering to PS4/720 just do to the fact there hasn't been any talk or even rumors for these consoles yet.

I am really hoping so because i can just imagine the neat stuff they could do with the Wii U controller !

It's expected CoD to be released for Wii U, even the DS got CoD ports. I just hope they keep supporting the Wii Remote because it much better to play shooters than the Wii U controller.

No shit, the system is designed to be easy to port to so of course next year's COD will launch on Wii U it will be easier than making a Wii version.

it would be silly not to. Nintendo don't make fps so they can dominate the gene on WiiU.

Well considering the fact that CoD doesn't move very many copies on Ninty platforms, there is no guarentee Activision would stick to offering CoD to Nintendo.

If it costs wads of money to port a game to a console or it's just a pain in the ass to do so, they could make a pass.

We have heard the rumors of the supposed developing issues for Wii U also. I think this would be a bit of good news on that front. 

CoD on the Wii sold 1 miillion copies That's not bad. Considering  the Wii U versions won't be gimped, and Nintendo will market the Wii U to hardcore gamers, CoD on the Wii U has a chance to sell even more. 

The devvelopment issues rumor was probably a lie. It can't be true after seeral devs (Activision included) praised the Wii U.
