Now that I look Treyarch's web again, they are looking for someone with "More than 2 years experience working on Xbox360 or PS3", so yes, they may be looking for someone to work with WiiU.

About the debate handhelds vs home consoles, to me it's pointless.

Makes sense, as Infinity Ward would rather eat glass and die than develop for a Nintendo console.
