The officiating this entire playoff has been horrible

Woooo go Giants!

Underdog Giants again beat Green Bay in Lambeau then go all the way for a Patriots Superbowl rematch? If they continue to play like they did yesterday, then there is a decent chance.

lol. Packers by at least 14.

Looks like you got that reversed ;)

The giants aren't playing like the Giants. I dismissed them as Atlanta was wishy-washy all season, as was New York, but it seems the Giants are peaking at the right time.

Anyone here listen to the game on radio? I live in New York but I was driving in my car during the 1st quarter, so I didn't get to see the fumble on TV, but it was probably just as entertaining.

When they came back from review and called it down by contact the radio guy was like "How the hell di.. uggh... How the heck did they NOT call that a fumble?".

How was the reaction by the commentators on TV?

WFAN is going to be fun tomorrow, can't wait to hear what Francesa has to say. Hell, I know I will enjoy Boomer and Carton in the morning.

They were all so sure that it would be ruled a fumble... then were very surprised when it wasn't. They went back to it a few times later and still marvled over how it wasn't ruled a fumble. The refs didn't really do a great job in the game, as there were a few calls made that were blatantly wrong, and I say that as someone who didn't really care who won the game. At least it didn't affect the game overall, as the Giants would have destroyed the Packers either way.

I have a trivia question for everyone.

Who is the first team to go 15-1 in the regular season and lose their first playoff game (badly)?

Let's see who knows the answer.

Oh well, it could be worse. Like going 13-3 in a season, getting knocked out in the playoffs and going 3-13 in the following season.

Yeah, but going 15-1 and winning the Super Bowl is much better, trust me.

If we shift the topic to 15-1 teams that didn't win the Super Bowl, the Packers are at least not alone.

Yeah, but they all won at least one playoff game.  Even the Vikings managed that.

If rol was actually from Green Bay I would think Amp's trash talk was dickesh. Since he is not, I have to say he does a wonderful job.

Edit: The other thing as I can understand it. I would not give Oakland fans much of a break if it was them. Team rivalries run deep with the teams and the fans alike.

You must be enjoying this a lot.

It's a good thing that I wasn't cocky all season and proclaimed a guaranteed Packers Super Bowl win, I don't want to imagine how you would have acted in that case.

No, but you did see that everyone wanted the Packers to win.  I'm sure most people in New York, Chicago, and several other places would disagree with you.

Actually, besides the people that jump on the bandwagon for every current hot team. Most people seemed to not want the Packers to repeat as champions.

No, I didn't see that. There were just about as many people who wanted to see the Packers lose. Or are you talking about the referees?

I'm sorry, I meant that you did say that.

typo

Honestly though Rol, a lot of people that wanted to see them lose.  The refs apparently didn't though.  The game would have been something like 40-6 if it was officiated properly.  Even the most avid Packer supporter can't disagree with that.
