I like the NFL, so Ill just venture my thoughts on this one:
PIT vs DEN: With a "80%" Ben Roethlisberger and no Rashard Mendenhall, Steelers offense will have a tough time getting going. Denver has to apply pressure early on and I know they will get a fumble out of the 2nd-string Steelers RunningBack somehow. This sin't to say winning will be easy; Tebow actually has to throw the ball well, which is not exactly a guarantee. In terms of Score, I see Denver winning 21- 17. the scores will mainly be due to field position the broncos will get as opposed to marches from the 20-yard line or interceptions returned for touchdowns.
NYG vs ATL - Which Giants team will we get? I think we are going to see the Giants take this one. After a few years, I am still not sold on Matt Ryan. Michael Turner will have a few issues dealing with the Giants revitalized defensive line. One thing the G-Men have going for them for the first time in years this time around is confidence; some due to outplaying the Cowboys, defending their hometown from the Jets, Eli performing at an 'inspiring' level, and Victor Cruz's explosive play. Giants win 27- 21.
NO vs DET - Brees is playing at such a high level, and Calvin Johnson is a Decepticon. This looks like the playoff shootout this year. My mind leads me to believe Saints will win, BUT, I feel the Saints defense will show their unsightly colors in this one. Lions win 42-38.
CIN vs HOU - Texans got Arian Foster and Ben Tate...but no quarterback. How long can they run? If I'm not mistaken, Jake Delhomme is their guy but c'mon... I gotta go with Andy Dalton on that one. It'll be close but despite injuries, I feel the Texans will still manage a W, 20-14
