thats right your not in America are you lol.

save your money so you can get games for a PS3, and wht ever cards you need for your PC.

I would upgrade the graphics card. Console exclusives for the most part are overhyped.

Nowadays the only time I ever play on my ps3 is when I want to play move enabled games because there are currently no motion controllers for the pc. I sold my 360 because there are very few games that I want to play that aren't also on the PC.

You mentioned wanting to play GOW3 and Uncharted. God of War 3 and Uncharted series get most of their acclaim from looking really pretty for console games. God of War 3 especially is a relatively average hack and slash compared to some of the alternatives this gen in terms of gameplay. Without consoles you will miss out on around 20 80+ rated games a year, only a handful of which you would have probably enjoyed. IMO not worth the cost at all, especially if you are short on cash. Personally my PC backlog has nearly a hundred games most of which I am excited to start playing. You should only get a ps3 if there aren't too many games you are excited about for the PC, but don't get one if you are satisfied with whats coming out for pc just because some ps3 exclusives  get a lot of hype. You will quickly beat the handleful of games that you will actually enjoy, find the rest of the games pretty mediocre, and then wonder why the hell you spent so much money on hardware you hardly ever use.

Personally I don't need to play games with everything maxed out so my radeon 5670 should be fine for a while, but next time I need to upgrade cards for games to be playable on medium settings, I will be selling my ps3 to buy a new card. Also this post isn't meant to mock console owners. Some people don't like playing games on the PC or with a keyboard and mouse. Some people don't like to deal with the technical aspects of owning and upgarding a gaming pc or the relatively high upfront cost of buying a good pc. But the threadstarter obviously enjoys playing on the pc and imo if you have a good pc and enjoy playing games on it there isn't any point in owning consoles unless you got a lot of cash to spare, especially the hd consoles where basically 90% of the games get ported to the pc.

Well I liked the first 2 god of war games nice enough I am sure 3 is plenty cool, the hype on Uncharted can't all just be fanboys and that pure high production value cinamatic experiance doesn't really come to PC that often so that could be novel. Also local co-op is a lot of fun and you get almost none of that on PC. Then there are games like Red Dead Redemtion that doesn't look like it's ever coming to PC at this point and Dark Souls etc. But then again there are a lot of games coming up that I want to get for PC like Xenonauts, Skyrim, Metro: last light, Bioshock infinite, Torchlight 2 etc. But then again again there are some Japanese games that are unlikely to ever come to PC like Valkyria chronicles, Bayonetta (they fixed the PS3 version didn't they?), maybe some team ICO games, Zone of the Enders and maybe even VANQUISH  (I am sure I could get used to pad shooters, I played through Halo on XBOX)

Yea even if I go for inport copies (much cheaper than NZ prices) for new games prices this is the difference between PC and Console games

http://www.nzgameshop.com/pc-games/rage-anarchy-edition-game-pc

http://www.nzgameshop.com/ps3-games/rage-anarchy-edition-game-ps3

And I would get a better experiance on PC even with my current setup...

So I would probably get mostly seccond hand older PS3 games I couldn't get on PC

only 1 PCI-e 16 lane so that is not an option, besides the not quite 100% scaling even on games that scale well with cross fire it would probably end up performing as good or even worse in many games than a 560 ti plus the dreaded microstutter. Not to mention the added power draw and heat...
