this game is seriously something that you shouldn't miss, i've played it over night the other night and i got so hooked that i actually forgot to sleep , then i went to work with it's soundtrack stuck on my head, that i even wanted to play it more and more.

this game is going to be added to my favorites, i recommend anyone who decides to play it, is put on headphones and turn off the lights, you will feel like you are transformed into another world, i don't want to say anymore, so i won't spoil it, so i highly recommend you guys to give it a rent or a buy , i know i'm talking to people who only care about exclusives and graphics, sadly, but the least thing you do is give this game a rent, to me this is how "Graphics" should be, its so beautiful.

oh and just one last advise before you play it, keep holding your controller, just because its a cutscene doesn't mean you can't interact, this game is full of surprises.

so the best way to play it, Headphones, lights off, keeping hold on controller, turning up the sound, and if you have a headphone with 7.1 surround (the PS3 headset that i have does) , its even better!

The reviews for this game are all over the place. I'm interested in this game but I just can't pull the trigger on a purchase. I almost bought it before ending up with the stylish but disappointing Suda 51 game, Shadows of the Damned. You're making me lean towards a buy, though......

Fun fact: For a long time after, I thought this game was call "Cel Shaddia" based on the wonky box art logo!

d21lewis, listen man, you should never listen to reviews, or watch any, you will enjoy your games much more that way, trust me on this.

the moment i did this, is really the moment i REALLY apprieciated all the games i buy, and to me, unlike most people think, the japanese industry haven't "died" its the gamers that are changed focusing too much on reviews, everyone suddenly became a critic,  and thinking "hey so this part is bad according to this review" "this part is good according to that review" rather than playing games for what they are, and how they're meant to be played.

searching google i didn't find a special edition, i would actually buy it if i find it, i love to listen to the soundtrack, but for this game , much like nier if you played that, the soundtrack goes so well with what is happening in the game so its the best way to listen to it.

by the way i haven't played nier much yet, i'm only passed the first part, i have too many games that i didn't play yet =[

Funnily enough, I get better WITH reading the review (if it's bad), I'm like "yeah whatever they can't enjoy games this is gonna rule".

i haven't reached that part in the game,  the game actually start in a very cool way, and it actually breaks the fourth wall lol,  i don't want to spoil it,  but like i said keep holding the controller.

I don't really care for review scores but I think the review content is important.  I didn't know a thing about this game except that it had crazy box art.  I didn't know if it was an RPG, an Action Game, or a Platformer.  The first review I checked made the game look like the greatest thing ever made.  The second review tore this game to shreds with scathing comments.  But I need to know if the game has things I like or if it had flaws that turned me off.  Thing is, one review would contradict the other (ie: "The game has graphics that will blow you away" followed by another review that says "The graphics are simple and dated") and I simply didn't know who to trust.  And even though it doesn't have a numbered score or a lot of details, isn't this thread basically a review?

I have the money to grab this game but I don't know if I'll have the time to play, with so much coming out in the next 60 days.  I'll likely stumble home with a copy of this game soon, though.  One quick question that will possibly effect whether or not I end up with this game TODAY:  Are there any hot video game women in this game?  I know it's based on the Bible but still--it's not a sin to look sexy, is it?
