Hi guys,

This year, VGChartz is participating in Extra Life, a 24-hour gaming marathon for charity that takes place on Oct. 15. and we could use some help! The team's goal is to raise $1,000 for All Children's Hospital in Tampa, Fla. and we'd appreciate any contributions the VGC community wishes to make!

Btw, would any of you be interested in a livestream of the marathon? I'm thinking of trying to get my capture card working and maybe broadcasting the games I play during the day online.

You can do it any time between now and Oct. 15. Simply go to the team page, click on one of the team members and then click "Support me!" You can donate as little as $12, and all of it goes straight to the Childrens Miracle Network and to All Children's Hospital. :)

Edit: Oh, and it's also tax deductible if you care about stuff like that.

I would love to donate, unfortunately I am 1,700$ in the hole and already donate a lot of my check. Also their are plenty of charities in my local area that I support. But power to you and I hope many other users take this opportunity to donate and touch the lives of children in Florida. I feel sorta bad that I can't participate maybe next time!

Just a reminder guys... Extra Life is TOMORROW! There's still time to donate to Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals, or to join the team and raise money yourself! Some of us at VGChartz will be live blogging during the 24-hour marathon. If you're interested in keeping tabs on us and chatting with the team, there'll be a post on the gamrFeed website. I'll be starting my run at 6 a.m. eastern tomorrow morning and could use the company! :)
