They removed Nanosuit abilities for the console versions? I seriously doubt this?

Um, where did I say that? I said they removed choices. Basically they took the 4 nanosuit abilities from Crysis 1, and lumped 2 together, so there's really only 2 choices in Crysis 2. Which is how it sounds they've made it in the re-release on console. Pretty weak honestly.

What is the big deal then if they just lumped 2 together. Depending on which 2 abilities it might actually make sense to condense them. If its the Armor and Strength or Strength and Speed, I could see those as being combined with the way the suit is described how it works. The first combination would make more sense as they are more closely related. It sounds like you are complaining just to complain. I would personally welcome that change on the original Crysis.
This game coming to consoles shouldnt affect any PC users ability or fun they had with the game, the downgrading of the graphics to get it to run on consoles doesnt affect me and my playthroughs on Crysis on Ultra settings. So more people get to enjoy it, big deal.

Because part of the challenge to playing through the game (on the higher AI settings) was picking and choosing which suit ability to use, and when? I'm sure many people could see those being lumped together, however, it's still a dumbing down of the controls...isn't it? Explain to me how that isn't. I'm not complaining, lol, I've got Crysis and Warhead sitting right here next to my PC. I'm merely voicing incredulity that Crytek would speak out in such a manner, though, to be fair, they've relegated themselves to IP whores just like most of the industry, so I shouldn't entirely be surprised either. Maybe if I weren't only one of the majority of respondents who are voicing the exact same doubt about their claims, you'd have a point. However, given you're in the minority, methinks there's some merit to my response.
No, the game coming to consoles has no effect on PC gamers, whatsoever, that having been said, Crytek's complete about face and giving the proverbial middle finger to the PC base that gave it it's popularity, is rather astonishing given their once rock solid conviction of the PC platform. As I said, merely IP whores looking to make a cash grab. It's really just sad that a developer has sunk so low, so quickly. And please, hold the piracy comments (if that's where you're going to go), last I checked, pretty much all IP is pirated for 360/PS3 weeks/months before the PC versions hit the net.
