But we Americans have a multitude of cultural accents... You've got the Boston/Jersey accents, the southern/country accents, the city slickers, etc. lol
Forget the above post, I'm new to the website and something went wrong with the edit. :)
FIFA 12 will boost PS3-sales in EMEAA this week and probably next week as well, because it releases on a friday and FIFA is very big in Europe!
| kowenicki said: YOY 360: down 8% - Gears almost wiped out the YOY drop from Reach week 2. PS3: down 30% - price cut effect worn off. Wii: down 30% - price cut a distant memory, how low can it go? DS+3DS: up 20% - doing ok. PSP: down 50% - say no more. PS2: down 68% - finally irrelevant |
The short term effect has worn off yes, but we will not not the true effect until the holidays. I'm more than certain it will beat last years numbers especially as it's €249 now and with uncharted 3 launching. The long term effect will show the true effect.
this will be the first time 360 has been number 1 worldwide all year
Wow can Wii drop below 30K in EMEAA? although I doubt it it will go up a bit with the new re-design.
Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,
mario maker
new 3ds
yoshi woolly world
zelda U
majora's mask 3d
I don't remember Wii going this low before the price cut? So this will be the lowest ever week for Wii.
Edit - nope, looks like 79k is - http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly.php?date=40671®=World&date=40678
@ oniyide: If the Media Create numbers are correct;
1. 3DS: 231,500
2. X360: 205,063
3. PS3: 171,168
4. Wii:94,470
Excellent week for XB360, both HW and SW, not as good as in America, despite two big launches, but nobody expected it, actually many expected a little less than what it achieved.
Good week for PS3, both HW and SW, just one big launch allows it to grow a little anyway in XB360's strongest week in a long time.
3DS up thanks to the new marketing campaign, but its SW is down WoW a lot.
Edit: with DS too growing a little bit, despite Ninty's attempts to kill DSi XL with its current ads for 3DS underlining that now the latter has a lower list price than the former, it looks like Wii is trying to compete with PSP for the last place. Will new models, bundles and, probably, prices, resurrect it?
