Boutros pointed it out in the comments section and I believe it was then removed from the article, however the rest of the Dark Souls/Dragon Quest comparison remains.

All of it does, when something positive happens to something Sony related he always ends it with something negative like (oh but it'll drop off hard compared to *insert Nitnendo product*

Dark Souls had an excellent opening week. 1 million sales WW for that game on the PS3 before the end of the year is a guarantee at this point. It will probably be between 600-800k FW. Pretty big boost for the PS3 as well.

Gears 3 did pretty decently (well really good when you consider the sad state of affairs of the 360 in Japan)

That is so incredibly unprofessional. I know I have expressed my feelings on the whole matter though so no need for me to get into it again.

Anyways it is nice to see Gears surpass the preview by ~300% or so.
