I so want this game, I have a 360, and I have a deep feeling that this game is going to drop in price like a rock. What I am not sure is whether I want to wait a few weeks and get a preowned copy or support the rare port like this in order to encourage the company to make more games for the 360.

..On the other hand chances are my purchase won't even make a difference.

Is it trully awesomely hard? >_>

Meh, for all the talk about the Taurus Demon being super hard and such, he really was a bit of a push-over. Got him on the first try and only using one Plunging attack because the damn bastard blocked the access to the ladder so I decided to fight him on the narrow path. His attacks are predictable and a well timed back-dodge is all you need to avoid his attacks.

Taurus Demon was super, super easy not even a challenge even if you don't drop on him repeatedly. The gargoyles were tough for me and my play style (dagger, lots of rolling and and short bursts of attacks and back stabs). Actually, I have a lot of difficulty on bosses in general as you can't back stab them.

I guess the gargoyles reminded my of the maneaters in Demon's Souls which was the toughest boss to me. I hate 2 on 1s :(

Well the 2 on 1 Maneaters were a pain, but if you used the middle torch properly, they would never touch you making the fight also a breeze. And then there was the White Fog Bow exploit, but that made for a boring fight.

I guess the Gargoyle's arena doesn't have anything you can exploit for your advantage right? And yeah, Taurus Demon was very easy, hopefully bosses start ramping up the difficulty.

Oh gosh, i got the game today, and just beat the Gargoyles. i was SO pissed off, since i didnt knew what to do to evade the flames+Attacks AND doing damage.. the solution was so simple.. xD just hit the first gargoyle to like 65% (Slighly above the ammount where the second one spawns)... and wait. wait for a situation where he's recovering or something, and then go all out. bursted him away like 50% without getting serious damage, and i only had to do 2 more hits when both were there. and the second one alone wasnt any challenge.

-- BUT i think ive encountered a bug.. the dragon just.. died.. xD! i went up the stairs, saw him (after killing Taurus/Goatlol/Gargoyles), and suddently, i got 10000 souls. and i was like 'huh'? .. and then i saw that the dragons dieing xD.

.. wonder where i have to go now though.. forest? o: .. its really confusing how many different paths this game has, its sick. and so many alternative routes. amazing, even if i feel lost like hell.

Yeah it seems that the dragon dying glitches are somewhat common. So you basically missed the Drake Sword which is obtained by cutting off it's tail (by using arrows against it)

What class are you playing?

actually got the sword before he died. this was the very piece of information that i've obtained before starting, its just like with the dragon Flame Sword in 2-1 in Demon's, nothing can touch it for quite a while i guess.

i play thief. Masterkey/Lifering .. the ring is kinda worthless though, 30 HP+ .. but could have been worse i guess.

btw, just died by a curse in the sewers. life's now halved.. lets .. uh.. reclaim those 9000 souls!.. (i hope i dont die on my way to my stain lol..)

edit: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU*K!!!!111.. didnt think the Meat cleaver guy respawns.. (and he wasnt at his usual place).. DAMN this is frustrating.. xD

Forgot how epic the Hunter class is, the Asylum demon only touched me once after I got my bow xD. Now comes the fun part!

eww hunter?? ... why do ppl play with long range characters, its cool to have a long weapon as a secondary weapon but as a 1st its so boring...how do you do it, being in thick of things is Xxhilarating. EDIT- btw long range classes are treated as beginner classes ... you aint no damn beginner

I'm a damn beginner. :p  I also enjoy ranged comabt and kiting my enemies. After playing around with a few classes, I'm thinking of sticking with Pyromancer. The Sorcerer is too squishy and while I like the Wanderer, I kinda suck right now since I'm getting used to the controls and such and I die A LOT. I haven't tried the Hunter, though, because the vulnerability to magic is a bit of a turnoff.

So, I've been reading a lot of comments saying X class sucks or I really like Y class and it got me thinking. At about what level/portion of the game do you guys think classes stop mattering? I'd probably say a little after the gargoyles/around level 30 or so. At that point any class should have access to most casting items (if they weren't casters before), a few base miracles/spells and access to a lot of different items and armor.

What are y'all opinions? I kinda wish the classes meant more in these games
