Actually, I have a lot of difficulty on bosses in general as you can't back stab them. I guess the gargoyles reminded my of the maneaters in Demon's Souls which was the toughest boss to me. Well the 2 on 1 Maneaters were a pain, but if you used the middle torch properly, they would never touch you making the fight also a breeze. And then there was the White Fog Bow exploit, but that made for a boring fight.
I guess the Gargoyle's arena doesn't have anything you can exploit for your advantage right? And yeah, Taurus Demon was very easy, hopefully bosses start ramping up the difficulty.
