Amazing game that deserved every single sale.

*raises glass* I'll never forget my first experience with Valkyria Chronicles, here's to you.

*raises glass with you*  Thanks to btw, at least some people can read the OP and understand this thread was meant for a congrats to this game. Whether people agree with the numbers or not, it is what it is and i am damn happy for it.

How can you say it is what is and congratulate it for that? Congratulating VC for reaching a figure it probably hasn't reached is like congratulating a runner who's mid way through a race and saying he won first place.

Whatever...

Are you jarrod in disguise? Let it go... It's like you hold a grudge against this game, you never seem to pipe up about any other games. Let it go...

It only seems that way because people always like pipe up about sales of this game on this site compared to any others, and the sales look so painfully inflated from reality. I don't really care what game it is, but considering VC is brought up a lot for its sales because it has a large fanbase on this site, it's hard not to say something when it looks like you're all celebrating a delusion.

Anyway I'm trying to leave this thread, but you're all making comments that bring me back...

If not giving you anything to reply to will make you stop pissing all over the thread then... Bye!

Soriku has a point. VC hasn't reached greatest hits. If it was selling, they would have made a greatest hits edition which would have given free advertising.

Demon's souls on the other hand reached greatest hits and best of, and atlus has proudly announced the nos as well.

VGC has been wrong about sales of software many times.

Greatest Hits isn't some sort of guarantee. Just because your each some arbitrary number doesn't mean you're guaranteed a release in that product line. Besides, there have been games that have sold far worse become a part of the 'Greatest Hits' line.

In order for a game to get a greatest hits release, must it sell 500K worldwide or America only?

Sure, that sort of thing doesn't belong but Xenoblade has sold decently. 80k in 5 weeks is not great.
