No. Buy another PS3 and you can pwn everyone by saying that you don't just have one, but two of them.

i already have 2 ps3's :D

Then sir you fucking own and don't need anything else until Vita/PS4. Maybe throwing some things into the trash can which aren't necessary.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

well ebgames are having a special, a 250gb xbox 360 slim with kinect gears 3 kinect adventures and a controller, and it's a really great deal but the problem is xbox live' it cost $90 and then i will have to buy new games for it and it will all add up, all my friends have a playstation except for 1 so that is another setback and i have an elite right now with a few games but tbh the elite is booring what's the point of no wifi so i could sell that and take $150 of it which would take it to $230.

i need to know a few things

first. is kinect good? i have a psmove atm but it's pretty lackluster with no games

2nd. is live worth it? and how much different is it from psn

3rd. is gears and halo good? [my main reasons that i want the system]

i really need to know from personal experiences is it worth it or am i to late.

1. For the hardcore gamer, probably not. Unless you have family who would want to use it or you are REALLY into dancing and virtual sports, you probably wouldn't like it. It also lacks games in general. Price is another problem as well, Kinect is very overpriced, especially for what you can get out of it and the quality of the technology inside it.

2. This is a hard one. XBL is overall superior to PSN, it has a better selection of Arcade and Full games and the useful party system with cross game chat. Other than that, there aren't many differences. PSN has the same connection speed and it still has a great selection of Arcade games including the PS1 Classics section. If you only have 1 friend who has an Xbox 360, getting XBL does seem a bit pointless, if you think those advantages I listed are worth the £40 / $60 a year price tag then go for it.

3. I haven't tried Halo out that much, I had a lot of fun with my friend on two player but I still need to pick the game up. As for Gears of War, I have played the 2nd one. Overall I would say it was OK, definitely not my sort of game but still enjoyable. Personally I think the Xbox 360 has a lot more to offer than just Gears and Halo, maybe you should look at other games too.

You are a little late, but then again so was I, and I enjoy using my Xbox 360. I usually switch between my Xbox 360 and my PS3 each month when certain games come out, having the choice of which console to play means you can take a break from one console and when you come back to it after playing the other, it feels "fresh" again.

no

If you are ok with paying $40-$60 every year then yes. Otherwise it is not worth it.

Trust me, I know. Without XBL you won't like your Xbox 360. And the differences between PSN and XBL in gaming that is mutliplayer is very small, I doubt its worth it to buy a new console and an XBL subscription.

You are better off just getting an XBL subscription and gears of war 3, and use an ethernet cable because wireless is laggy.

1st. There are many ps3 games with Move support. If you found them lackluster than Kinect won't offer you anything better. Worse imo.

2nd. There have been many arguments over which one is better, i don't agree with neither. Both allow you to play your games online, ps3 free in fact.

3rd. Both are great exclusives that define the console. If you like scify fps and tps, you should enjoy gears and halo.

playstation3 has better quality games than xbox, only thing xbox has is gears halo fable an forza that would be any kind of interest to people. with ps3 u have heavy rain twisted metal uncharted series GT5 MAG exclusively, and all the other games are on both systems and ps3 is free. stick with ps3

well ive plugged my elite into the laptop and have started the free 1 month trial so ill buy halo reach and see if it's good.

Seems to be a good idea.

Kinect, for me is a lot of fun.  Just know that it's the HD equivalent of Wii party games.  Fruit Ninja, Kinect Adventures, Dance Central, and a few others are insanely fun but not the kind of games that appeal to the "hardcore".  It works very well, in my opinion, but not perfectly.  If this interests you, go for it.  If not, stay with the PS3.

2nd. is live worth it? and how much different is it from psn

I'd say a couple of years ago, Live would be worth it.  It still is worth it, for me.  The PSN has offered most of Live's major features over the years.  There isn't that much of a difference, these days.  I love Live and  prefer it over PSN, BY FAR, but when it comes to convincing someone, I just can't do it.

3rd. is gears and halo good? [my main reasons that i want the system]

They're awesome.  I replayed Gears 1 about two weeks ago, and I still love it.  The old games are still great. Gears is my favorite new series of the generation. Halo 3 really blew me away at the time.  Haven't played in a while, though.  Halo REach failed to live up to the hype, for me.  I haven't played either online, though.  From what I understand, that's where they really shine.

You may be too late.  There's a ton of great games that are only on the 360 but they tend to be a year old or older.  A lot of the fun comes from the great online community and, after the initial rush winds down, it's hard to say how active that community still is.  I love my 360 waaaaaay more than my PS3 but it earned my love over the years.  With you coming in so late in the generation and already owning a PS3, I just can't sell you on the Xbox 360.  If you have some money to burn, go for it.  Just don't expect a drastically different experience.  It's like me telling you to buy another car in addition to the car you already own.  It may be a better car but it's still just a car.

yes and get gears 3!
