Will you vote for Obama this time around?

Yes 16 30.77%

Maybe 3 5.77%

No 12 23.08%

I am from another country... 9 17.31%

Same as above but no 5 9.62%

obama backwards is amabo 3 5.77%

see results 4 7.69%

Total:52

You're deliberately speaking in extremes here.

Of course Obama should run. He's by far the best-known Democrat, he has a track record of leadership, he's the incumbent, and he can secure enormous amounts of funding and speak well enough to stir people into a frenzy.

He's also a hell of a lot better than pretty much the entire Republican lineup, but that has more to do with the latter's weaknesses than his own strengths.

He has integrity, however, and he seems like an intelligent man with a good head on his shoulders. He does concede a little too much, and tries to make up for it with excessively socialist rhetoric, but he can hardly be blamed for that with the clowns in congress with whom he has to work.

So, no, I don't want him to drop out, and I would much rather have him as American president than Paul, Romney or Perry (or Bachmann or Palin)

This.

I also believe that it wouldn't have made much of a difference who won the election in 2008, America's issues would be just as bad or possibly worse.

I'm a little lost here. Your title asks, "Should Obama quit the race?" But your poll questions is , "Will you vote for Obama this time around?"

Well, my answers are no and yes. Our President isn't messing up the country, our Congress is. Republicans are misguided, greedy fools and Democrats are misguided, spineless fools.

I for one have enjoyed OBAMA as president.

Of course that is because I absolutely despised The Bush!

This is why it doesn't really matter who the Republican presidential nominee is... because Obama's going to be running against Bush anyway.  That's how he convinced over 60 million people to vote for a half-term junior Senator / community organizer with zero executive experience for president the first time around lol.

I'm confused, if you dislike Bush, why would you have liked Obama as president? Talking points aside they were basically the exact same guy.

Hell, Obama has covertly increased the same things people hated Bush about.  Patriot act, War on terror, stimulus spending that does nothing but run up the deficit...

This... Obama is basically black Bush.  He's continued almost every single Bush-era policy he railed against during the campaign, from keeping Gitmo open and rendition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to bailing out all those "greedy fat cats" on Wall St.  And now he's in trouble for giving special treatment and billions in stimulus funds to solar panel manufacturers that lobbied for him during the campaign.

If Bush had done that, Democrats and the media would've been calling for his head right now!

i can see theres no need for me to post with Kantor taking all the best stuff(greedy much lol)!

first off i'd like to say Bush was bad but i also feel srry for him. theres much we don't and will never know about being president and in some ways i fill Bush is the most common scape goat as he should be for alot of the things that went wrong and things he had no control over. but he's still the worst president i ever voted against twice.

Obama i'd vote against becuase he just can't get everything that needs to be done done. need i even say the reasons why they can't get done? we all know them.

lets face it! we have more then 1k representatives WW on any given day that can fix these problems and only 1 (i'm sure there are more but they can't be as vocal)wants to do anything to fix them and that one is expected to do it regardless of the situation and he can't!

just call him no help Obama cause he an't getting any.

would i vote for him? very doubtful at this point. would i vote for anyone else? only if there an independent. why not a republican? cause there stupid. so does that mean your likely to not vote at all? yes, yes it does!

everyone ready to see things get worse? well you'll have no choice if Obama doesn't get re-elected.

Dear United Statesians,

All of your current prospects for your next president scare us. We would appreciate if you could look into rectifying this matter.

Dear World,

You gave us Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Kim Jong Ill, Milosevich, Mussolini, Saddam Hussein, Muhammar Qaddafi, etc... and that was all just within the last century.

If our current prospects for president scare the shit out of you, then you seriously need to get your priorities in order.

Sincerely,

The United States

P.S.  If we actually gave a crap what the world thinks about us, we'd be Canada.
