Well because of the Charlie Sheen fiasco all over the news i'm sure that pushed many people to watch the season premiere of Two and a Half Men.

Sure it gets a lot of views everyone wants to see how it is without him. The next episodes are the real test. NikkoM already said what I thought. I give them 3 more episodes to turn me around.
Next week it'll likely set the record for biggest drop in audience from week 1 to 2.
The interest was artificial, nothing to do with the show, only with the 'WTF' factor of writing Sheen out and Kutchner in. However, if they can maintain even 10% of that 'merely curious' audience, they'll be doing all right.
I thought the episode was good, but as others have said, the next few weeks will be the real test to see if it can at least maintain the ratings it had when Charlie was apart of the show.
I wasn't too thrilled with Ashton's character, I felt as though he was a suicidal version of Kelso, but I am willing to give the show a chance and watch what they do next week.
"I don't know what this Yamcha is, but it sounds just like Raditz."
Wait until Ashton Kutcher's step-dad Bruce Willis turns up on the show.
Then the ratings will really take off.
