Seriously don't see how House lost to Dexter and Lost :/

Around the Network

@ Wagram:

It didn't lose by much though; all three of those shows were within 10 points or less of each other.

Personally I like House the least of the three, but still, all of the shows in the top 10 are very good, IMHO.

Not that I usually like things just because they're the most popular, but, I really must go buy me some Lost DVDs.

Gotta love the internet. I get that everyone's is entitled their own opinion, but some comments are laughable (not just on this thread, but in comment sections and forums in general). Calling Lost "garbage" or saying that it "sucked" is by all means an exaggeration.
I personally never liked shows like CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds, House, Grey's Anatomy etc, but I would never say they suck. You know why? Because they don't. They're just not my cup of tea.

It's simply not an exaggeration when shows like Lost are someone's cup of tea, just that Lost in particular ended up being a cup of low quality expired tea.

#1. Lots of people vote several times on that site to make sure their faves get the score they want it to get. It's full of fanboys, so that says nothing. You'd also have to conduct a survey on a more diverse group to get a better ideea of what people think of Lost.

#2. Lots of people are incapable of forming a critical opinion. Te critics average went below 80 for the 5th season, and Lost's finale was panned (which it deserved, as it was cheap, mediocre, melodramatic nonsense).

That season still has far more great critic reviews than bad, and still only fell to a 78, which certainly doesn't "suck" on anyone elses scale, lol.

Yup.  Just leave it... haters gonna hate.

One of the typical things people with uncritical opinions say (e.g. tween girls who love Twilight).

Talk about a typical response, lol.

And he's not a tween girl, he's 36 years old!  :p

Imitating me doen't help your case of proving you guys are not like tween girls.

Oh please, don't flatter yourself.

I was not imitating you in the least, but instead pointing out that you are guilty of the very thing you accuse others of, which is giving shallow responses when your case doesn't hold up.  You're obviously one of these people who thinks that everyone elses opinion that isn't the same as yours is wrong, like your critiques have more merrit than others. Lol, please...
