Then we should do testing on Taylor Swift.

Uh, testing is never done on Taylor. Really not funny..

But seriously, I feel a deep pain in my gut everytime I hear about those poor animals getting tortured! There can be other options.

I think the testing would do wonders fo Taylor. Maybe she would get actual talent or grow bigger boobs.

Animals are disgusting IMO

They are not! In a way, slavery also still exists in the world today! Horses and other animals are used as slaves, and I believe that's a form of animal testing. They're testing these animals will, and one day these animals are going to flip out on mankind. It's really sad seeing a horse pull a huge wagon with some sick idiot whipping him with a steel rod, and sometimes even stabbing them with those star things on the ends of their boots.

I'll use an example. Pigs. If you offer a pig a porkchop, he will eat it. Canabalism 101. Disgusting creatures.

Agreed. Taylor Swift sounds & looks like an animal anyway sooo...

Nah. Animals are merely our god given tools so we can do as we please with them. They have no souls and are there to please us.

so,are we supposed to test unproven products/drugs on humans. would that make it better. I mean most drug trial testing is done with mice/rats,are whatever, but I don't see anything wrong with that personally.

Experiment on the sick and dying animals that have no chance. Don't hurt the ones who have a full life in from of their eyes. Because they feel pain just like we do, they cry just like we do, and they bleed just like we do. The only difference is that we cannot communicate with them and we don't hear it. These animals go to bed in tears every night from the pain, and the fear of the next day.

well, what if what ever experiment there doing,is for the greater good of human-kind? I'm not really an animal lover, but maybe a wrong, makes a right,in this case.

I bet he gets a lot more 'pussy' than the average cat.

Animal testing is despicable.

I can understand the thought, but some research simply requires that animals be tested because there really isn't any other way to learn these things, and they are important. I totally agree that animals should not be sacrificed for frivolous things such as cosmetic research or the next boner pill, but when it comes to real diseases that people need medication to live through then I can't fault researchers for killing mice in order to do their research. So much of our general knowledge about Biology is from animal testing, it really is necessary even not for medical testing but also just for general knowledge experiments.

...

This is pretty much the same as vegetarianism for me. I mean, I fail to see the logic of not harming some animals, harming others and freely harming plants. Sure, plants may not feel, plants may not record any pain. Why does that give us some moral right to take their lives and play around with them?
Honestly, as humans, we have to take a very cruel "care only for other humans and nothing else" stance if we don't want to completely fail as a species.
I mean, I feel bad about all those endangered species, abused animals (I love dogs so it kills me personally to see those advertisements and such) and similar animal-related problems, but to really care about those and then proceed to swat a fly and dig into vegetables feels hypocritical.
