ioi, I always imagined the site going down was an inevitable part of you updating the data. It's just an side-effect of everyone wanting to see the new stuff after all?

according to alexa, site traffic over the past weeks has just gone further up and up!..so im not really surprised ioi =D

If all the tards would quit refreshing when ioi goes to upload data it wouldn't crash. ioi, you should do it differently.

Try sending out a message to all that at this specific time/day you will update data and the site will be down for 10mins.

Then at that time kick everyone off, run the update, then allow a reconnect.

This way it would be down for 10min vs 30min.
