Central Valley of California.
Pretty typical city. Big, but not LA big. Most people are down-to-earth. We have our fair share of most things. Jack-of-all trades, master of none type of towns. Politically diverse and even. The only things that stand out are the various Mexican immigrants/Spanish speakers, and TONS of trees, which are awesome.
It gets cold from October-April, but no snow. Just sweatshirts and pants to be good. May-Sept is HOT, but not humid, so perfect for swimming or hanging at the river.

NZ included as part of AUSTRALIA...lol

i live in the Middle East (should be included as one of the options btw) in a gulf country called Saudi Arabia which i live in the capital city Riyadh which is considered one of the biggest cities in the world!
the weather is extremely Hot in the day light which goes between 42C to 48C in the summer which starts from the begining of april till the end of september meaning 6 months of summer & 6 months for everything else!!.
it doesn't rain a lot in the winter & we never had snow in the the capital:(
Sydney, Australia.
I live in south west Sydney in the suburbs. Only go to the city to work. Sydney tends to be a bit more up tempo compared to other Australian cities but I like it.
Weather can be very unpredictable although for the most part it's seasonal.
The only thing we don't get is snow :( .
I live in Abbotsford, British Columbia , Canada. The fastest growing city in BC and nearby the site of the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. I love my city and my province. Luckily I am close to the American border so I can visit often and get the best of both Canada and the US. My city isn't as big as many American cities but it is one of the largest in British Columbia. The only downside to my city is gangs run the streets, we have several big gangs and they are always fighting each other. Gang violence is huge!
But other then that the city rocks, the province rocks and we live in the greatest country on the face of the earth!!!!!

I live in Winchester, Hampshire in the United Kingdom.
This city was once the capital of Wessex and then England. Our Cathedral has the longest nave of any Norman construction. We used to have a large castle, but that was pulled down following the civil war (Winchester was on the side of the King, who lost). This city's Cathedral was one of the only historic sights in the South that wasn't heavily bombed during the 2nd World War, which according to a local legend is due to the fact that Hitler wished to be 'crowned' in both Westminster Abbey and Winchester Cathedral, in the way William I was in 1066, the last successful invasion of the British Isles (as it is a local legend, there is probably very little truth in this). In 2006, the city was named the best place to live in the U.K. There is not much else to say, really.

I live in Melbourne, Australia.
Recently voted the most livable city in the world, It's Australia's 2nd biggest city and the sporting capital of our country and many say the world.
I live 30 minutes from the ocean, and about 2 hours from the snow fields in the ski season.
We have Australia's largest casino, tallest building and longest bridge.
