I voted for Doom simply because of top-notch gameplay and badass attitude but I must still complain about the lack of Half-Life. Seriously? Half-Life is still the game that comes to my mind first when someone asks about the best FPS games.

Call of duty is the best one,just because it sells more.

i'd have to say halo is the most iconic

Halo is by far my favourite--the campaigns are excellent and the multiplayer is always good for some laughs.

my choice was rainbowsix as it has been the 1 game on the list that has stay'd focus'd on wht it has been without change.

while the others haven't changed for the worse there influenced by the current industry standard in cod with the exception of BF, doom, Resistance, crysis, and bioshock.

Halo has been consistent in its own path but has not innovated past its inception. Reach was a game changer but like many other shooters it hasn't changed much.

all the shooters belong in a category of there own for wht they've done, and if they continue on there own path they'll continue to influence the industry as they move forward.

Voted for Halo but to me there`s a tie between Halo and Perfect Dark. Perfect Dark had an amazing multiplayer!

That was the first thing I thought after seeing all logos.

Halo and CoD have the most addictive online, but Killzone and Halo have the best single player. Halo is the only that offers excellence in bother departments, so I vote Halo.

However if you consider Metroid Prime a FPS, then I vote that.

Half Life. And as an aside how could you even miss it from such a list?

No Half-Life, no Unreal Tournament, no Quake, no Counter Strike....and then you put there Crysis and Resistance FAIL.

Btw. My choice is Half life and Unreal Tournament.
